Andrographis Paniculata (Kalmegh) is best known for its beneficial qualities with liver and spleen disorders, stimulates liver function, and also helps to improve the metabolic function, and support treatment of skin diseases. Kalmegh has energetics which are bitter, is hot in potency, has a pungent post digestive effect (PDE) and has qualities which are dry and light. Kalmegh balances both Pitta and Kapha. Active constituent: Andrographolide. Part used: Whole plant. Dosage 1-3g.
Bhumiamalaki
Phyllanthus Amarus (Bhumiamalaki) is known for aiding with inflammation, enlargement of liver and spleen, jaundice, liver carcinoma, fatty liver, blood disorders, eye disorders, anaemia, hypertension and diabetes.
